Hey everyone so I have been volunteering at this cool non-profit organization called Bed Stuy's Project Re-Generation (PR-G). The organization aims to eliminate teenage idleness and have teenagers better themselves in their community. They do this by allowing high school teenagers to gain marketing skills through fund raising and offer cleaning services to the residents of Crown Heights and BedStuy.

PR-G is holding an event called Community Pride Day on July 18 @ Von King Park in Bed Stuy. The event is an annual day of fun, games and entertainment for attendees. In The Past, activities included a community clean-up scavenger hunt, a large children’s play pen, free school supply give-aways, a live DJ, and tons of free food. This year’s theme is “Our Community in 5D”. Special guests are young rapper Spazz and Brooklyn's own Papoose! There should be some great food there as well with one of the sponsors being Jamaica Grill...so you know the music and food will be on point and what makes it much better is that it is FREE!!!!
